Temporary Administration Assistant

Applications for the post of Temporary Administrative Support Assistant are invited.  This is a part-time temporary post for 6 months for 15 hours per week, to be worked flexibly. The post may be extended after the 6-month period.

The Temporary Administrative Assistant will be undertaking general office duties including: agenda preparations, spreadsheet analysis, maintaining a filing system, updating the Town Council’s website and social media content.

The successful applicant should be computer literate, confident using the Microsoft package, and must have previous administration experience. We are looking for an outstanding candidate who can keep pace with a busy, and often pressurised, working environment.

The conditions of employment and remuneration are based upon the National Association of Local Council’s salary recommendations.  The salary range is SCP 10 pro rata.
