Local elections will be held in the Shropshire Council area on Thursday 1st May 2025 to elect councillors for Shropshire Council and for town/parish councils in the Shropshire Council area.
Elections will only be held for seat/councils that are contested.
 
The “Notice of Uncontested Election” has been published today (Friday 11th April) for all wards in Whitchurch (Town). This means there will be no election for Whitchurch Town Council wards on Thursday 1st May.

As an uncontested, quorate, Council we will shortly publish details of Co-option Opportunities to fill the 3 vacant seats remaining in our NORTH Ward.
 
We need people from all backgrounds and experiences to champion our community and put themselves forward to serve a Town Councillors.
